The judging panel of each of
the Ultimate Tournaments is made up of 3 people who effectively run
the events.
The Judge's duties include
(but are not limited to) overseeing each round of qualifiers, issuing
invitations, producing the players packs, developing content for this
website, receiving nominations for and voting on "Wildcard" entries,
processing player army lists, organising event logistics, judging &
scoring the tournament, conducting presentations & coordinating the
post-tourney socials.
As this is a fairly hefty &
important role, the Judges are selected upon the basis of best
representation of the hobby community for such an event. The panel may
vary from year to year. Each member of the panel will have the
experience, tournament record & involvement in the hobby community
necessary to help build the prestige of the event and ensure that it
is being run by people that definitely know what they're doing and
(hopefully) have the trust of the gaming public!
