I have my copy of the Leverage RPG and it is fantastic.

We should seriously get this for the Guild library

leverage RPG is based off of the Leverage Tv show and is very much inspired by the "heist" genre.

Much like Oceans 11 the pc's are a band of grifters and confidence men. They find an evil man or organization and then proceed to scam them of all of their money.

The Rpg has some very clever rules for things like flashbacks and dramatic reveals which are a staple of the genre.

It is by the same people who did the Serenity Rpg and the Supernatural Rpg. It is generating a lot of excitement over at the rpg.net forums.

While this is not going to be "the next big thing" it is a clever game that will attract players who are interested in story.

There is a lot of conflict inherent in the game but little real combat. The skill system is innovative and does well the create characters that are more gifted than the average person.

I've had a look.

It looks like a good buy for people that would be interested.

Such as myself (and Chris by the sounds of it).

Modified version of the Cortex System (which as mentioned is what Serenity, Supernatural and BSG use).
