Hi Guys,

Just saw one of the boys on Wargamerau posted this video, in it Battlefront announces its releasing Flames of War 3rd edition in february!!!

Here is a link to the announcement, also if you own a 2nd edition hardback rulebook you will be able to take it in to your local stockist and get a 3rd edition rulebook free.... now thats pretty awesome :)

Heh. Just got the email from Wayland Games advertising specials on the current Rulebook and Das Book. It's like they know something we don't.... :D

What are they selling the V2 hardcover book for? It might be worth getting so I get the free mini book in Feb rather than waiting until March to buy the hard cover one

I do have the full sized hardback edition, that's why I believe its an awesome promotion :)

Looks like a good opportunity to really start playing some more games with the stuff I have got...

Just a heads up, Tactics now have the V3 small rulebook in. Just take the old V2 hard cover in, get it stamped and viola! The new edition is yours.

Got mine today, and it has everything including fortifications and missions. Now to start reading.

As far as I know, it's the lists that were in Fortress Europe. ie super generic lists for each nation.

I downloaded the 7 page summary of the changes from the Battlefront website today for a look-see.

Since I got my free mini book when 2nd edition came out, it looks like I'm buying the big version...

I just ordered a couple of the Battlefield in a Box middlle east buildings from Maelstrom and the mini rulebook has appeared in my cart. They are forcing me to have it. :( I am thinking about complaining.

You could do a ceremonial burning or give it to someone who plays it
