hey people, i've been thinking about this deck for a while now and i'd like some constructive critisism (anyone who doesnt know the rules for cards, feel free to ask or look them up on http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Default.aspx).

Lands;
10 swamp/snow swamp
10 forest/snow forest
1 Dark Depths

Creatures;
4 Rimebound Dead
4 Drift of the Dead
2 Primeval Shambler
2 Carniverous Plant
3 Carrion Wall
2 Wall of Pine Needles
2 Ohran Viper

Spells;
2 Crop Rotation
2 Evolution Charm
2 Rime Transfusion
Hidden Spider
3 Avoid Fate
Dash Hopes
Cyclic Evolution
Wild Pair
Shield of the Oversoul

Artifacts;
2 Expedition Map
Crenellated Wall
Living Wall
Snow Fortress
Trailblazer

the basic idea is to build up a healthy supply of walls and defensive creatures to keep me safe while i work on thawing out the Dark Depths terrible beastie, which i have the chance to make unblockable with an instant or two, which will hopefully land the killing strike. the three Avoid Fate's are there mainly to stop someone casting Despoil and killing the land untill said beastie is out....any thoughts?

Good looking deck with a very cool aim but i have some suggestions:

Wall of Denial
I know it doesnt keep to your colour scheme (Blue,White) But is a great all rounder wall
Oblivion Stone
Creature controll at its finest.. for when the walls come down.Also acts as a constant threat of wiping the board.. buying you turns.
Vampire Hexmage
Seems crazy not to run a black deck with dark depths and not this card.
Deadly Recluse
Cheap defender which people dont like coming up against because of Deathtouch. Makes for a tidy turn gainer.
Kodama's Reach
I try to run these in any deck I have with green..Thinning your deck of mana to pull combo cards just makes sense..bonus is snow covered counts as basic land.

EDIT:
Just noticed you only had one Dark Depths.
Diabolic Tutor
So you can find it in a pinch.

that is what i have the Crop Rotation's for.
and i very much like the idea of the vampire hexmage, brutal combination with Dark Depths. it doesnt really fit with the theme i had in mind but hey...

Diabolic tutors are just too good to pass up. Also can throw in a liliana for similar fun.
But yer as cool as the theme may be, it's silly to run dark depths without a hexmage.

Very cool trick! Didnt spot it til you mentioned it. is a touch "broken" Todays standard would limit the card to basic land :P

would that mean it could be made illegal, or that its just awesome. if it is illegal i could change it to the Diabolic Tutor. also does anyone know how much would it cost to buy Dark Depths and Vampire Hexmage? im thinking i could squeeze the hexmage in somewhere
that wall of denial is also very cool, pity i cant use it with this deck. if i had a deck with those colours i'd use this with dark depths;

DD CAN Be found in boosters.. good luck spending a few hundred dollars in buying boosters to crack for it. Was one of the lower quantity rares from a generally lower-quality set. Apart from DD and snow lands, I Cannot remember anything of value from CS.
