Three days of gaming awesome this last week. Let's see what happened!
FRIDAY, 1ST JULY 2011 - TGA NORTH
The Malifaux campaign begins!
There were those who were eager to be first to play under the watchful and ever helpful eye of our newest resident Wyrd Henchman, Liam 'osoi' Tennant.
There were also games of Blood Bowl, Warhammer 40,000, Warmachine/Hordes...
.....and the continuing adventures of Krynn's newest band of heroes in the world of Dragonlance.
The kender being the friendly and helpful character (much like the rest of his kin) paid the fine to free the mysterious Sylvanesti elf who promptly follows his personal code of gratitude and service until the debt is repaid. Meanwhile the gnome and monk make thier way back to town to seek aid after being ambushed by Kobolds as they slept outside the town limits. After recovering with the aid of the party cleric at his temple of Paladine the group meet at the inn to discuss what to do next. While outside a group of centaurs gallop past them heading out of the town.
Erm?....anyway.... Centaurs are not fond of so called civilised folk cutting down forests and such. To see them in town was a very rare event indeed.
After speaking with the captain of the town guard the party discover two members of the guard are missing after a routine patrol of a bridge located not far from the missing woodsman's cabin. After returning there the druid decides to speak with the tree spirit who informs them that the woodsman was abducted by a group of humans who took him the way of the trail they needed to take to find the bridge. Heading off they find the tree canopy along the trail is covered in spiderwebs as before so they are on guard for ambush.
Looking down from the shadows as the party move is a pair of Ettercap. The party sees them, but such is the nature of thier spiderweb trap skills one party member is still caught. Another is knocked to the floor and trapped as the Ettercap spit webbing before launching an attack on the rest of the group!
Their poisonous bite is deadly nearly rendering the druid's wolf unconscious. However, victory is rewarded with a cache of gold hidden under bushes.
The party arrives at the bridge and discovers a small crumbling building with a secret entrance.
Taking stairs down the party stumbles across a large room filled with enough supplies to support a small army. After helping themselves to some choice items from the stash they continue on. Opening a door they see a long corridor with doors at the other end. Standing between them are two very angry giant scorpions! Fortune favours them yet again and they dispatch them.
Thanks to some Hirst Arts molds and a bucket load of patience I assembled and painted MANY times over the pieces to make the ruins and dungeon tiles. They look fantastic if I do say so myself.
Using suprise the party opens the doors at the end of the corridor suprising a group of humans frantically loading their crossbows to drop the intruders. A battle begins and although the party is victorious the noise (and the fact one of the humans was hurled through another door during the melee) could mean trouble anytime now...
Two weeks from now the adventure will continue.
SATURDAY, 2ND JULY 2011 - TGA CENTRAL
The first saturday of the month means TGA Central is open! For the debut we had Warhammer, Malifaux, everything you would enjoy playing on a lazy saturday. Others took the time to assemble those projects that keep getting put off like...ten Leman Russ Tanks for 40K!
TGA Central prepares to go apocalyptic!

Bring your tanks, your men, and pray the Emperor is protecting you!
Also, more miniatures were being assembled for:
-Northern Guard Kodiak Gear-
SUNDAY, 3RD JULY 2011 - TGA CENTRAL
Deviled Sausages and Minestrome Soup for lunch, perfect for those winter days.
Next week is the greatest Epic tournament in the southern hemisphere. Players have been taking part in the escalation campaign but now is the time to put all they have learned to the test.
As you know TGA does not charge a membership fee and even offers an amazing Loyalty Card
system for paying your attendance. This makes TGA extraordinary value to play with your friends, both current and those you will make at the club.
Unfortunately for sometime now there have been people who attend TGA that do not follow the requirement
of paying attendance, some of them consistantly. This is clearly an unfair situation to the rest of the people who support TGA as thier gaming home away from home.
This is unacceptable.
The past is the past, but from now on TGA is making it clear that anyone who does not pay attendance will not be welcome at TGA
. This also includes being able to play in any tournaments and events, even if you buy a ticket.
