THURSDAY, 18TH JUNE 2015
5:00pm - 10:00pm (or possibly later)
FREE ENTRY

Hey folks,

Just to let you all know that TGA will be holding our next board games night on Thursday, 18th June 2015. An evening filled with games aimed at family/group entertainment so bring your other half and make some friends.

There will be a number of board games provided plus tables for those people who are willing to bring along a copy of a game they already own to play and maybe teach others.

Naturally, the regular wargaming tables will be there for those who want to throw down so feel free to organise regular gaming for that too.

Join us and have some fun! :D

Just a friendly reminder to all that TGA will be open this Thursday evening from 5pm. It is a focus on board games and such, but the tables with wargaming terrain are all there so come and play! :D

Updated the thread to announce our next board games night.

Thursday, 9th APRIL 2015

We have been asked to do a Magic: the Gathering draft for the new 'Dragons of Tarkir' set. If we get a minimum of eight people it will happen on the night so plan for that too. ;)

So, what is everyone bringing this time around? :D

For once I'm not working on a Thursday night, so I will be coming down with a few games ( see below ) in hand if any wants to play or learn ( happy to teach / coach )

Guns of Gettysburg - Im so glad I took a risk and purchased this game. Puts you in the boots of either General Lee and General Meade as to what they faced in a battle that neither one wanted to commit to. A real FOG of war element as to when and where reinforcements arrive, which unit has available artillery, objectives which move, encourages a player to hold the high ground and out flank the enemy.

Also will bring

Pandemic
Zombicide
X wing

Cheers

Mark

I'm trying to organise a Battle Star Galactica game, and have a couple spaces left. This is a fantastic sociable game, as it's played in teams which makes learning it easier (this is code for 'the people teaching you are less likely to exploit noobs' lol). It's also terrific fun.

It was originally going to be at gamagori, but since the northern gamers are a bunch of flakes with lives, wives, jobs and swing-dancing classes I could move it to TGA's central location if a couple people are interested.

Let me know, thanks!
