As it was the last game of the season we didn't worry too much about the post-game stuff except renown.

Leadership is a draw with both Tweezal & myself on 21 renown! Thus the campaign ends on something of disputed clarity though as Honourable Champion of the Emperess I declare the Carribean the sovereign land of the of the glorious Empire of the Blazing Sun by virtue of holding more ports! I magnomoniously grant you all visiting rights and extend the hand of friendship and this peace treaty. :D

Thanks everyone who took part, regardless of how small. I think I learned a little more from every game reported back

The 2 months have been a good experience and have high-lighted some things that need review in the campaign rules. I'm still not completely satisfied with the force selection & recruitment stuff. I think renown is a little too heavily dependant on "capital ships" and perhaps the penalty should only apply to whole squadrons to reward players who stick it through to the bitter end. I've also been spoilt with years of BRAWL ... oh for a system players could enter their results into and have a "system" do all the work :) I am however happy that few big games balance out well with many small games, as this means "raiding forces" have just as much chance at winning compared to conquerers getting out there capturing land.

Unfortunately I'm not going to be able to play the next couple of months as I need to knuckle down to Bushidio and have signed up for the WMH campaign. Sadly, thats probably all the time I will have for games. If theres a lot of demands I'm happy to run the thread again, but as I say, will be unlikely to do more than the odd lunchtime raid here & there. That said, the lunchtime regulars have been talking a big game day at TGA so keep an eye out for that thread ;)
