So to participate we need to commit to completing 1 game per fortnight?

I am curious but I too would be learning by doing as I haven't played a game yet either.....

Yep 1 game per fortnight. You are welcome to play as a noobie as I am happy to support you through the scenarios.

Okay well put me down as interested, but very little of my stuff is assembled so far so if someone else shows interest let them take my place...

Well what we might do is if everyone can make it to NWS next week, we can all meet to look at the campaign. Following this we can have our first game which will be:

Bokke66 vs drsn0
itchmonkey vs MrGTST

For the first mission, you will require a baggage remote and a hacker or engineer, or both if you have access to them. Following the session I'll help everyone go through the XP system and spend their points. For the first game, I'll be treating it as a demo of sorts to help drsn0 learn some of the more detailed components of infinity.

The baggage remote's pts has to be included into the army list, is that correct?

Edit: do we need spec ops for the 1st game, and how does he/she work? E.g. Can be added to linked team?

I still need to determine what I can get assembled before then... hopefully the long weekend will allow me to get a little more organised or I might need some more time to get the force playable... which is why I said if you find someone else to fill the 4th spot then go for it....

Worse come to worse, print picts of the minis, cut & stick them to the 25mm base, draw arc marks, and done! ;)

Honestly, I'm okay if you want to proxy yours. I have to proxy some of mine anyway.

@ itchmonkey; you buy a baggage bot as normal.

From what I have read of the campaign, a Spec Op is not strictly necessary in the first mission, but you forgo XP if you don't include one.

Spec ops can be linked with their parent unit in Sectorials. They are the basic profile of the optional units. Eg Keisotsu, Zanshi or Celestial Guard in Yu Jing. Cost never increases regardless of XP or weapon load out. (So a WIP 15, BTS -12, BS 15, Hacker, Engineer, HMG and Multi Sniper toting Celestial Guard is still 13 points and no SWC)

But that's a lot of XP.......

Okay, moving on to creating my 300 point list for next wednesday night now.

Quick questions, obviously we should be including our Spec Op character in the list but will the scenario require the mulebot/engineer/hacker/doctor this week?

I guess I am trying to work out what's needed for this week coming so I can do my best to get the models done or proxied, or is it a surprise for the night?
