Hi All,
I've been playing on and off for the last 18 years but my regular playing partner, my cousin, moved to England a few years back and since then I've had all my miniatures packed away. I'm hoping that people might send me a few pictures of their collections to inspire me to paint what I have, assemble all the things in packets and boxes and perhaps even start playing again.

I've gone somewhat overboard over the years and collected what could be classed as idiotic quantities of miniatures. I've got almost 200 metal Necron warriors, 60 odd metal immortals, 4 monoliths, a couple of dozen wraiths and half a dozen tomb spiders, 40 off destroyers and other bits and bobs. My Chaos/Horus Heresy nightlords collection is quite possibly worse. Almost a dozen landraiders, 15 rhinos, 3 demolishers, 5 predators, 6 dreadnoughts, 112 metal terminators, 40 cataphractii, and more havocs, troops and elites than I can poke a stick at. Oh, and almost 70 of the old metal raptors. And a storm eagle and two warhounds. But....more than half if not three quarters are either part painted, base coated or unassembled or partly stripped.

Any inspiration would be a wonder. My wife keeps telling me to paint what I have rather than buy more but ebay is an addiction! Luckily my 12 year old nephew wants to learn and has started collection Daemons.

Thanks for reading.

Cheers,
Adrian/tungaroa

That sounds incredibly impressive! Don't have any Necrons or CSMs to inspire you but you'll see plenty in the hobby showcase section if you dig.

Welcome to westgamer.

Army I sold last year. I find these pics inspiring, because it shows me I can actually paint decently if I try.

Still a massive fan of your Menoth Obe. I look forward to seeing the next army you can get to this standard at some point.

Funny you say that. I'm going to try painting Legion in this scheme. I hate my existing one.
