Some of you might remember me - I ran Outpost North for about a year about 2-3 years ago and then suddenly bailed out of the hobby due to burnout.

Some of you might remember my ridiculous Blood Bowl pitch with the LCD scoreboard...

Well a few nights ago I saw it in the back of a cupboard with a thick layer of dust on it and thought... It's time.

So hey!

Where's the Blood Bowl action at these days? TGA? Outpost?

Anyone want a game?

When's the next BRAWL season starting?

Hey man welcome back.

BRAWL and Rock'n'Rumble are still running. Both are coming up to end of season, with new seasons kicking off in the new year.

Also big on the bloodbowl front is State of Origin which is being hosted by WA next year! Stay tuned for more on that in the coming weeks :)

Plenty of great tourneys over the next year. Shame you missed redneck rumble though :(

Yeah I have some VERY fond memories of the first Redneck Rumble - still have my 'best painted team' and 'Happy Drunkard' award steins on the mantle at home.

If I just rock up to TGA with a few teams and a board one weekend what are my odds of getting a friendly game of BB in? Is everyone completely burned out for the year?

I'd organise a game in advance. Lots of games happening these days. Not sure pick up games are a thing anymore.

Hey Mike! I think you were on the way out just as I was on the way in! I miss that pitch of yours with the fantastic scoreboard! How was the break?

Break was good - bit scared I will have forgotten how all the games are played, especially with some of the GW stuff having had whole new editions out since I last played!

Thanks for the warm welcome back guys - I have a wedding on this weekend but I'll probably see if I can tee up a BB game at outpost on tuesday or TGA next sunday on the gamefinder subforum.

P.S. Just checked - 40k has had TWO editions out while I was gone. AND Sisters of Battle got a real codex! Crazy times we live in man...

"Real" codex.

Good to see you back Mike. Blood Bowl is like riding a bike, you'll be back up to speed in no time.

The other systems - maybe not so much. ;)

If I remember correctly, playing blood bowl against you was more like riding a bike with the handlebars covered in broken glass and an extra gear operating a 'punch in the balls' mechanism.

What was it at sandgroper 4, seven badly injured/dead on my team? including all but one of the sauruses?

You MONSTER. :D

Good to see you back Mike, I'm looking at doing the same after being away from BB for a couple of years

Let me know if you're keen for a friendly refamiliarisation game - maybe bring one of our old BRAWL teams out of retirement or something.

Hey Bruno, is Jules still playing and whatnot? I used to run into him from time to time at work but it's been a while.
