I had the old '95 DOS game and boy did that stink. There was a Mummy in there that could move 7. Really crazy.

This looks like a vast improvement.

Quoted from the web write up....
Quote:
The gameplay will purportedly be identical to that in the original board game, and--at least in the version that we were watching--there was text appearing on the screen that let us know the outcome of dice rolls as well as any special occurrences, such as pitch invasions and referees being bribed.
If such things are included in the computer version, I would think it would be very Sha-Wing! It would definately add that extra bit to the game....

Hexadecimally yours,
Bandiceet

When I was in England, a couple of years ago, I was able to buy a game called Chaos League. It is very obviously based on Blood Bowl (and I think there were some legal issues with GW).

It is a great game that can be played real-time or turn based. You can play a single game or entire seasons with a developing player list.

If you BB fans ever get a chance you should pick it up and enjoy.

you are kidding right? You know you can make up a perfectly viable bllod bowl army for like the cost of maybe one box and a blister right. My wood elf team is like a wardancer blister and box of wood elf warriors. Surely youll be able to work somethin out?

You mean there is people out there that don't want to play bloodbowl

What's wrong with them?

Cost is not an issue with BB. For the same cost as a 40k or fantasy army you can have half a dozen BB teams easily.

Chaos league was OK, but this is so much better.

Apperently, it can be played 2 ways. One as a turn based game like the original, and the other real time like Madden for the NFL.

The Madden style game could be really good fun + your non-BB friends would probably play too...and then the conversion can begin
