Right. Well after work shifting me off to Sydney on the Sunday and my mums 60th Birthday on the Saturday...it looks like I can make it back for this years Groper.....YEH BOI!!!

So...

I have just finished painting my Dark Elves for the local league, and most likely the SA Open...so they are the fall back if all does not go well.

Otherwise...the goal...is to finish..

THE AURA OF FAIL

Thanks to Vesh that name was yelled at me at the "Pimpin Porn Stars" edition of the Sandgroper....quit deserved actually.

So I have three treeman (say that three times fast) on the way from impact with a bucket load of Halflings at home ready to go.

Will they be painted in time?? That is the question.

So Vesh....HOPEFULLY I get these babies done....than it is me and you for the Stunty cup champ.....hell if I get them done early enough you might even recieve a challenge first round, unless someone else decides to get an easy win first round :p

Oh Sloth, it would be grand if you take the Flings... I could take ANOTHER spoon away from a Southerner... The question is though... Where will this challenge end? I have yet to make a challenge, and now I know you're taking flings, that could be an interesting turn of events. However, it might be more interesting if the first time we met was for the spoon... Time will tell... I will be working on my challenge video this week...

Like I said...the GOAL is to have the halflings ready in time...its gonna be tight.

However...meeting for the spoon instead of a challenge does have an interesting twist to the tale...

Could it be another SOO challenge...ie...I was sure as hell finishing higher than you :)

Actually....I just got an idea...

Save your challenge for a confirmed team :) But be prepared for something...a little different :)

Coming from you, something the rest of us would consider normal would be a little different... My challenge has been postponed a week, due to game prep for the weekend (have to make a 2,600 WoC list into 4000 points)

OH HOLY SHI@#

That is FREAKING AWESOME!!!!!

But might have to wait for another time :)

Maybe Ogre Team in the same style....MWAHAHAHAHA

They where simply going to be called AURA of FAIL in recognition of my last Sandgroper appearance...therefore I could come as myself...ultimate fail (thought I would get that in before anyone else did).

Yes I would like to point out that before that fateful day at the Sandgroper I was but a sweet and innocent individual who, liked a laugh and good time.

Than, after meeting with a sicko who had a "lady boy" dwarf team I was thrust into the world of depravity and sexual confusion.

It was the death of the Country Lad from Narrogin, and the Birth of the GIMP BOY from Albany.....

The question is who will be the individual responsible for the next step to MANKINI MAN.......

Gonna take one hell of an individual that.

i think ur journey to Mankini Man should be a solo journey of self-discovery - cause i think once u don the Mankini u will have plenty of time by urself :)

Have you got any evidence to support this statement?

I actually think it is the reverse. The Sandgroper Cup was a mild mannered gaming tournament, finding itself in the big wide world. Then along came this Southerner and things have never been the same since...

Damo, is there something up with your forums down there, as I was trying to post some updates?

They are a cheap forum drew...can have days of instability :)

WIP Pics...not yet...how about an update.

Cleaned MOST of the halflings this week. The second ed ones are BLOODY small and probably won't fit the style of the team....BUT WHO CARES.

I just recieved the Treeman last night. 2 x Willy Treeman and one JB Demon Treeman.

This weekend the goal is to get cracking on cleaning, basing and undercoating (got the Valejo Grey Primer designed for air gun but should work brilliant by brush).

I have the paint scheme 75% worked out....will let the paint fall as it may for the first one.

The treeman shouldnt be too hard...slap on basecoat, wash, drybrush...pic out details...move on.

I disappear for a week before Easter...so it will be Touch and Go to get them finished in time....fingers crossed.

I should point out work started last night on NEXT years Sandgroper Team.

I got the Resin Sarcos from Impact....BLOODY NICE!!!

Anyway since seeing the original team years ago I wanted to do something.

So next year...BEHOLD the mighty LAST CRIKEYS!!!!

Stever Irwin tribute team :)

I have found AWESOME reroll counters and scoring counters.....not to mention a costume and a bit of fun at some point that my opponent will need to help with :)

MWAHAHAHAHAHA

(making this call now in case some prick tries my idea I floated a while back)
