I'm told the gear problem for my car is common. If you've towed a lot, I've done my fair share, the harmonics leads to the original gears in the patrol to break down. So the repair will be pretty much be an overhaul of the gear box, but should be a permanent fix with no real future issues. The mechanic says they do this repair about once a week. So probably an inevitable repair for my car, just coincidental timing.

Ok I am just doing the write up (delay as I need to sort out some pics) but in the meantime......

The Southern Road Curse will be getting its own sub page...so we need some history. If people can elaborate on these...AWESOME

2009 - March Sandgroper Practice weekend...the beginning of it all. Details, who's bike had their battery run flat??

2010 - the first redneck. Michael Loss had a licensing issue??

2011 - This was at the Freemason Club....I can't remember this one.

2012 - Rotary Youth Camp the first time....Bushfire??

2013 - Rotary Youth Camp...Duro was this the blowout????

2014 - Tim....lost a fight with a truck.

2015 - Several...rob we need pics, Michael I have details above...I reckon we include Ratt in here, it was close enough.

The bike belonged to eckythump aka Chris Poli. Pictures soon

Michael Loss was using his partners car which she had recently purchased from a dealership. The registration was not valid as the dealership had not paid the rego

The 2012 was when there was a big Biker shindig the same weekend, one of the bikers dropped his ride, which started the bushfire.

The 2013, which I will be happy to leave to Duro, but if memory serves, one tyre lost it's tread on the way down (being unaware they were retreads), then another blew on the way back.

As for my car this year... A clutch may not be the primary issue. Turns out there is a hose that split, leaking fluid that until actual repairs were done, imitated a clutch malfunction. Trouble is, the hose needs to be sent from over East. I am now driving a mid 90's Commodore... For a week or so.

2011 was me, my Falcon's coolant system corroded through and I lost most of my water outside Kojanup. Had to wait an hour for it to cool, top up and limp the 10k into town to get it fixed the next day.

When I got it back to Perth it developed more leaks through the system so it didn't move again until the wrecking truck took it.
