got a 50point game in today vs Advanceop. . . .and after a heavy slog and my monks disappearing into pink mist. . . .it was a draw. . . thank the Kami for a scenario-driven game

Wow, you managed to finish a 50 rice game in a lunchbreak???

I honestly though lunch break games were going to be limited to 15 rice levels to get them finished in time.

No, we didn't finish. 50 rice was way too ambitious. We had to call the game on time.

Oh and the ladder does not automatically update at this stage. More work to be done. :(

to be fair, we did get the game to a scoring VPs level, so a winner could be decided. . . .except we both had the same VPs :oops:

I think that you could do a 35 point rice game in a lunchbreak if both players know the rules and are comfortable with their team. plus particular scenarios are better suited for quicker games (envoy for example)

Primed and ready for battle! ... err primed and NOT ready I should say! I've decided to pretend I'm actually good at this and went for black primer with a white lighting thingy. Maybe a bit too much white but we'll see!

actually finished a 50Rice game at lunch today. . . .its because I was wiped out in 4 turns :oops:

Map is still coming but the following locations have been explored and grant the following bonuses when battles are fought there.

Savage Wave
1. The abandoned temple
Savage Wave Bonus: draw one faction card at the start of the game (and allocate it if applicable)

Prefecture of Ryu
13. Takashi Mansion and estates
Ryu Bonus: Draw one faction card at the start of the game (and allocate it if applicable)

16. Training grounds
