If a librarian has a force axe he strikes at initiative 1. the psychic power quickening makes you initiative 10 (IIRC). Does a librarian with a force axe that casts quickening strike at intiative 1 or 10?

1 I am afraid...

Quickening increases his stat to I10 but he still strikes at I1 as per unwieldy... so I guess he would pile in at I10 but fight at I1

Q:Does a model with an Unwieldy weapon Pile In at its
normal Initiative step and then fight at Initiative step 1?
(p22/23)
A: No – it Piles In and fights at Initiative step 1.
From the FAQ - piles in at I 1 too

ok, i thought i remembered something somewhere from last edition where increases to initiative could overide certain things and was not sure if that had followed through to this edition.

No, the initiative buff is on his base stat - which the weapon already overrides.
