I looked at Romans briefly for Kingdom of Men.

Check these out for Dwarves, although I have not seen them in the flesh they look like they have some talent.

Ooooh yeah, they look great! I love the Shaven Cavalry and their pink Oinkers, and the Chariot looks like a possibility for the Steel Behemoth. Pretty good prices too!

Black Hat Miniatures have an excellent dwarf range - Dwarf Conquistadors, Town Guard and Highland Dwarfs. The style is very similar to the old Citadel Marauder dwarf range which has always been my favourite. Prices are very reasonable too - 5.50 pounds for 4 miniatures.

Their Highland Chieftain on shield bearers models look great!

I have some of their Chinese fantasy figures that I was using to do a High Elf army. Might get back into that for KoW.

Oh, here's a Halfling militia command with a mini Napoleon and mini Elvis musician.

They look like a good option too Doc!

Another question for the collective brains' trust...halflings 25mm or 28mm (it probably does not matter which scale). I have a nagging thought about adding some of these little hobbity beings to my Kingdoms of Men collection so I can play them as League of Rhordia. Any ideas where cheap halflings/hobbits can be sourced from?

I have the obligatory 8-10 LoTR hobbits but their metals are mostly OOP and very pricey on that well known Auction site (although the thought of Lobelia Sackville-Baggins leading a Horde is quite appealing so I might just cough it up for her anyway).

I use a lot of minis from Mantic and all my old GW models.
I have been building a kingdom of men using my old lord of the rings models.
i have used reaper bones for heros and monsters.

I do buy my Mantic models direct from Mantic in the UK.

Mightyape is the best webstore I found in aus for Mantic stuff.

One of the bigger aus ones has said they will start stocking soon but I forget where I read that.
